Job summary

Sydney Wide Fitouts Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Draftsperson to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and 3D models. You will work closely with the project team to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings.

Responsibilities include preparing site-layout plans, revising drawings after feedback, and performing engineering calculations while maintaining thorough documentation and adherence to drafting standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in drafting, design, engineering or a related field.
• At least two years proven experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks or other relevant software.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural technical drawings and site-layout plans based on project requirements.
• Revise drawings following feedback and design changes.
• Analyse data, check dimensions, layouts, details and perform engineering calculations.
• Liaise with project managers, designers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain organised drawing files, revision records and project documentation.
• Follow relevant drafting standards and company procedures.
