Job summary

The Shire of Dardanup seeks a Destination Marketing and Engagement Officer to drive tourism growth in the Bunbury Geographe region. You will lead destination marketing campaigns, craft engaging digital content and foster strong partnerships with councils, industry groups and operators.

Working 0.5 FTE in Eaton WA, you’ll deliver strategic communications, oversee campaigns and report on outcomes to support regional visitor growth and pride.

Qualifications

• Marketing, communications, journalism, tourism or related discipline experience.
• Experience creating and executing marketing and branding strategies.
• Strong digital marketing and storytelling abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement with media/partners.
• A collaborative, multi-project mindset with priorty management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver destination marketing and engagement strategies.
• Coordinate digital marketing activities: website, social media, EDMs and content creation.
• Create compelling content and pursue media opportunities.
• Build partnerships with local governments, industry groups and stakeholders.
• Implement campaigns to boost visitation, awareness and advocacy.
• Monitor budgets and performance for continuous improvement.
