Job summary

SunRice is seeking multiple Mixing / Machine / Packing Operators for our Dessert Manufacturing team in Heidelberg, VIC. You will assist with preparing ingredients, operating mixing and packing lines, and help maintain safety and quality standards on the production floor.

These permanent, full-time roles offer stable shifts across day and afternoon windows, with training provided. You'll join an iconic Australian food business committed to people, communities and sustainable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating mixing, blending or manufacturing equipment.
• Dairy manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, HACCP and GMP.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• A positive, team-focused attitude.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including bending, reaching and standing for periods.

Responsibilities

• Operating mixing, blending and cooking equipment
• Preparing ingredients according to production schedules
• Completing quality and cleanliness checks
• Performing cleaning and sanitation activities
• Following food safety, HACCP and GMP requirements
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards, equipment issues and product concerns
• Working closely with Production Coordinators, Section Leaders and team members to achieve production targets
