Job summary

Mosh is seeking an experienced Designated Registered Nurse Prescriber to deliver nurse-led prescribing via telehealth within a mature digital health platform.

You will conduct real-time telephone and video consultations, assess patients, and prescribe within an agreed scope, under mentorship and governance. Join a pioneering Australian model with strong clinical governance and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current general registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• NMBA endorsement for designated medicines as a Designated Registered Nurse Prescriber
• Completion of NMBA-approved units of study required for endorsement
• Minimum 5,000 hours—three years FT practice—in past six years
• PBS prescriber number current or obtainable
• Understanding of Quality Use of Medicines principles and NMBA prescribing framework
• Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and independent decisions
• Strong clinical judgement and patient-centred care
• Clear communication skills for telephone and video consultations
• Ability to work with an Authorised Health Practitioner and multidisciplinary team
• Comfort navigating digital clinical platforms and telehealth tools
• Commitment to ongoing prescribing CPD

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients via telephone and video, provide education and support
• Assess patients and make evidence-based clinical decisions within scope
• Manage ongoing treatment plans and assess responses
• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment as needed within scope
• Escalate or refer when needs fall outside scope
• Triage symptoms to appropriate medical professionals
• Maintain partnerships with Authorised Health Practitioner with case reviews
• Complete a six-month clinical mentorship program
• Document consultations and prescribing decisions accurately
• Participate in audits, monitoring, and quality-improvement activities
• Report adverse events per governance processes
• Contribute to development of care pathways
