Job summary

Mackay Christian College is seeking a Secondary Teacher for Design and Technologies (Industrial Technology Contexts) for Years 7 to 10. MCC provides a Christian-based environment with a safe, supportive setting where students develop academically, spiritually and socially through quality curriculum and modern facilities.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualification in education.
• Registration as a Queensland educator (QCOT).
• Certificate in Engineering and/or Building & Construction and/or Industrial Technology & Design (preferred, not essential).

Secondary Teacher - Design and Technologies (Industrial Technology Contexts) - Years 7 to 10

You will have:

• Appropriate tertiary qualification in education
• Registration as a qualified Queensland educator (QCOT)
• Certificate in Engineering and/or Building & Construction and/or Industrial Technology & Design (preferred, not essential)
• An ability to develop a stimulating and engaging learning environment

You will need experience to be able to deliver one or more of the following:

• Certificate II Engineering Pathways
• Building Construction Skills

As well as one or more of the below:

• Wood/Metal Work
• Industrial Graphics
• Design Technology
