Job summary
ASC Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking a Design Technologies Engineer to help shape and support the tools and technologies that enable some of Australia's most complex engineering programs. Working across a diverse portfolio of engineering and design applications, you'll drive system performance, user capability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Experience using, supporting and configuring 2D and 3D CAD tools, engineering design applications, and modelling or simulation environments.
- Familiarity with PLM/PDM platforms and how data, workflows and design tools integrate across the engineering lifecycle.
- Broad technical knowledge across engineering applications, virtual desktop environments, enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience with SQL databases, scripting or programming languages to support, automate or enhance technical solutions.
- Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience within Defence, or understanding of Defence engineering standards and regulations, highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Support, configure, develop and maintain a suite of engineering and design applications, ensuring tools remain reliable, accessible and fit for purpose.
- Act as the link between engineering users, digital systems and business requirements, helping teams maximise the value of digital engineering tools and technologies.
- Deliver Level 2/3 support for engineering applications, working with users, vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
- Manage tool licensing, system availability and application performance to keep engineering teams efficient.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, procurement, legal and commercial teams to support compliant, secure technology solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement, user training and best practice adoption across ASC's digital engineering environment.
