Job summary

ACCIONA invites applications for a Design Manager in Adelaide to oversee design management across major projects. You will lead technical design reviews, coordinate consultants, and ensure constructability while maintaining client interfaces and reporting to the Senior Design Manager.

You will mentor junior engineers and work with local experts and suppliers to address design flaws and construction issues, expanding your influence across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Structural preferred).
• Experience in design management, including consultants and temporary works.
• Understanding of Australian engineering standards and practices.
• Construction experience is viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical review of design for accuracy and constructability.
• Manage design consultants and collaborate with local experts and suppliers.
• Manage cost planning for design work across projects.
• Manage the client interface on design matters.
• Identify and address design flaws and construction issues.
• Manage temporary works as part of design delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-disciplinary collaboration.
