Job summary

Kingston Barnes is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a privately-owned regional contractor delivering high-quality projects across the South West and South East. You will manage design from pre-construction through construction on schemes up to £12m, plan all aspects, and work to current regulations while mitigating risk.

Ideal candidates will have strong procurement awareness, good communication at all levels, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in leading design management for construction projects.
• Ability to identify challenges and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Knowledge of current legislation, standards and codes of practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process from pre-construction through construction on projects up to £12m.
• Plan all project aspects and identify challenges.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and codes.
• Mitigate health, safety, and financial risk during construction.
