Job summary

AECOM in Perth, WA seeks a senior engineering design leader to drive technical delivery and project excellence across Western Australia and South Australia. • Relevant tertiary or vocational training in engineering design and drafting, or engineering technology.
• Experience with design software platforms including Autodesk suite and Bentley MicroStation.
• Leadership experience in consulting engineering within mining and/or industrial sectors.

• Manage the design execution functions within the Western Australian and South Australian regional businesses.
• Identify techniques to improve quality and enhance operational excellence.
• Implement continuous improvement and manage revision control, life-cycle replacement and assessment/management of changes to design software platforms.
• Undertake recruitment, development, and succession planning for team.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, empowering team members to take ownership of their responsibilities and encouraging their professional development.
• Ensure delivery excellence across all projects, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Job Description

Qualifications

The qualifies that help you thrive

• Relevant tertiary or vocational training in engineering design and drafting, or engineering technology


• Experience and certification in the use and administration of a range of design/drafting platforms including;
  
  
  • Autodesk suite (Advance Steel, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Revit)
  
  
  • Bentley suite (Microstation)
  
  
  • Design Data Management platforms (Autodesk Vault, ProjectWise)
  
  


• Relevant team leadership and business leadership experience in consulting engineering within the mining and/or industrial sectors
