Signature Hospitality Group – Southbank VIC is seeking a Design Manager to shape creative design solutions for our hospitality environments. Based at our Southbank Support Office and reporting to the Group Development Manager, you’ll take venues from concept through to construction, balancing bold ideas with brand, budget and operational needs to create guest experiences that push creative boundaries.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of design experience in hospitality/architectural/experiential design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• Expertise in concepting, ideation, colour theory, typography and spatial design.
• Strong abilities with Revit/Autodesk, Adobe Suite and Enscape or similar rendering software.
• Ability to translate design intent into buildable solutions and provide value management options.
• Proven track record managing multiple projects and collaborating across teams.
• Excellent communication skills for senior management presentations.

As we continue to go far and go together, we’re seeking a Design Manager to shape creative design solutions that bring our hospitality environments to life across all our brands. Reporting to the Group Development Manager and based at our Support Office in Southbank, you’ll take venues from concept through to construction, balancing bold ideas with brand, budget and operational needs to create guest experiences that push creative boundaries.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead venue design from concept through to documentation, creating spaces that capture each brand’s personality and deliver memorable guest experiences
• Produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, renders and presentations using Revit, Adobe Suite and Enscape that clearly communicate design intent
• Select and specify on-brand materials, finishes, lighting and FF&E that are durable, functional and easy to maintain
• Review design documentation and conduct site visits to ensure construction meets brand standards, specifications and quality expectations
• Partner with Property, Construction, Operations and Marketing, as well as consultants, contractors and suppliers, to deliver cohesive venues
• Develop environmental branding, graphics and signage across our venues, and mentor junior team members within a creative studio culture

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of progressive design experience in hospitality, architectural or experiential design.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Expertise in concepting, ideation, colour theory, typography and spatial design.
• Strong capabilities in Revit/Autodesk, Adobe Suite and Enscape or similar rendering software.
• The ability to translate design intent into practical, buildable solutions and provide value management options.
• A proven track record of managing ambiguity, juggling multiple projects and collaborating effectively throughout the creative process.
• Excellent communication skills, including facilitating meetings and presenting confidently to senior management.
