Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking a Design Manager for Brisbane to lead design management from concept through construction on major projects, coordinating with consultants, clients and project teams.

This Brisbane-based role offers the chance to manage design programmes, identify risks, and drive coordination across architects, engineers and subcontractors on significant Queensland projects. Salary ranges from $160K to $240K base + super.

Qualifications

• Experience with a Tier 1 or leading Tier 2 contractor.
• Experience managing major projects valued at $100M+.
• Strong design coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Background in hospital/healthcare, defence, government, infrastructure or other complex projects is advantageous.
• Relevant construction, engineering or architectural qualifications.

The Opportunity We are currently partnering with a major Tier 1 construction contractor to appoint an experienced Design Manager for their Brisbane team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business delivering some of Queensland's most significant and complex construction projects.

About the Role As Design Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the design process across major projects, working closely with consultants, clients and project teams to ensure successful design coordination and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Lead design management from concept through to construction.

• Manage design programmes, deliverables and approvals.
