Job summary

Cox Purtell in Underwood, QLD is seeking a Showroom Consultant to greet customers, support showroom visits and manage registrations. The role focuses on customer service in a design‑led environment, with a Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule and an on‑site setup. This is a permanent full‑time position within a global family‑owned company.

You will assist with trade shows, maintain displays, and build relationships with interior design enthusiasts, CAD/CAM or architecture fans, including recent graduates.

Qualifications

• Greeting customers and guiding them through showroom visits.
• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining customer/visitor registration database.
• Developing relationships with new and existing customers face-to-face.
• Supporting staff for customer visits, trade shows, or VIP visits.
• Attending and supporting organisation at trade shows, exhibitions and events.
• Following up on communications and campaigns as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver marketing and sales activities to grow the showroom product range.
• Be competent in presenting topics to different audiences via internal training and product knowledge.
• Maintain and develop a computerized customer/prospect database.
• Assist with new product release campaigns, functions and training programs.
