Job summary

DHL Group is seeking an experienced HC Driver for local deliveries across Sydney and regional runs including Adelaide. The role focuses on safe, on-time deliveries, strong customer service and reliable communication with dispatch and clients.

The position requires an active HC licence, local delivery know-how and a proactive, safety-conscious approach to every shift. An on-site team environment with on-going training is provided.

Qualifications

• Current HC licence is essential.
• Previous experience performing local deliveries within the Sydney area.
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of the Melbourne metro area.
• Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record when requested.
• Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance & Pre Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignment to various customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesales & businesses.
• Perform local and shuttle duties as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames.
• Follow company procedures associated with pre start checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle.
• Adherence to stringent security requirements.
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA.
• Ability to complete runs both within Sydney area and ad hoc deliveries to Adelaide when required.
