Job summary

Monash Health Dermatology Unit in Melbourne is seeking a motivated HMO to join for the 2027 clinical year in a part-time (0.2 FTE, one day per week) fixed-term position. You will work as a sub-investigator under Principal Investigators and trial coordinators, handling trial visits, consent, results review, and queries across adult and paediatric trials.

When not in trials, you will see patients in general dermatology clinics and contribute to grant applications, research projects, and QA audits,

Qualifications

• PGY3 or above at commencement with sound clinical skills
• GCP certification or willingness to complete it before starting
• Understanding of clinical trial processes and documentation
• General dermatology knowledge and patient communication
• Ability to manage priorities in a part-time role

Responsibilities

• Conduct trial visits and obtain informed consent
• Review and sign off trial results and paperwork
• Respond to participant and monitor queries across adult and paediatric trials
• See patients in general dermatology outpatient clinics when not scheduled for trials
• Contribute to grant applications, business cases, research projects and QA audits
