Job summary

Clinical Skin Station in Paddington is seeking a dermal therapist to join a small, close-knit team. You will collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner and a cosmetic physician to deliver a coordinated skin and cosmetic plan.

You will manage clients from intake through homecare prescriptions, using advanced modalities and a comprehensive skin menu. Flexible hours and a loyal client base are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in relevant dermal field or currently completing one.
• Current laser safety certificate.
• 2+ years in a clinical or advanced skin setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult properly by taking a full history, assessing the skin, building a treatment plan and fostering longevity.
• Deliver the full skin menu: skin needling, skin tightening, mesotherapy, chemical peels, LED therapy and bespoke facials.
• Operate the Alma Harmony Pro platform across IPL, ClearLift, ClearSkin and VascuPen.
• Prescribe homecare with intent using iS Clinical, ZO Skin Health, Medik8 and drNC.
• Keep accurate treatment notes and track clients' progress over time.
• Work with Kimberley and Dr Taylor on combination plans where skin and cosmetic treatments overlap.
• Contribute to clinic education, content and culture.

Job description

You would be a dermal therapist working alongside Nurse Practitioner Kimberley Allen and cosmetic physician Dr Taylor. You are not tucked away in a treatment room on your own. When a client's plan needs both skin and cosmetic treatments, you are part of that conversation and your recommendations carry weight. You would also step into an established and loyal client base. Your job is to look after those clients properly and build your own column from there.

Key responsibilities

Consult properly by taking a full history, assessing the skin, building a treatment plan and creating a relationship of longevity.

Deliver the full skin menu: skin needling, skin tightening, mesotherapy, chemical peels, LED light therapy and bespoke facials.

Operate the Alma Harmony Pro platform across IPL, ClearLift, ClearSkin and VascuPen.

Prescribe homecare with intent using iS Clinical, ZO Skin Health, Medik8 and drNC.

About you

A Diploma of Beauty Therapy or a Bachelor of Dermal Sciences, or currently completing one.

A current laser safety certificate.

Strong understanding of skin anatomy, skin conditions and cosmeceutical ingredients.

Confidence and passion for advanced modalities and a high standard of attention to detail.

The ability to hold a consultation and listen well.

Genuine interest in homecare and prescribing individualised routines for clients.

Strong interpersonal communication and connections with clients and team.

Two or more years in a clinical or advanced skin setting is preferred.
