Situated in the picturesque Barossa Valley just 60 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, Redeemer Lutheran School is an innovative and well resourced co-ed primary school with contemporary facilities supporting nearly 450 students from ELC to Year 6. Through its Village Learning Structure and IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), the school delivers a rich and engaging Christ-focused education that nurtures students to flourish academically, spiritually and socially.

An opportunity exists for an accomplished primary years educator to join the school’s leadership team as Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning. Reporting to the Principal and working cohesively with the Deputy Principal Wellbeing and Culture, the role provides leadership in curriculum development and delivery, ensuring alignment with the IB PYP framework and the school’s commitment to educational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

• leading the coordination and ongoing development of the PYP across the school;
• overseeing curriculum planning, delivery and assessment to ensure high quality learning outcomes;
• supporting and mentoring staff in implementing effective teaching, learning and assessment practices;
• collaborating with leadership and curriculum teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement;
• fostering strong relationships with students, staff and families to build a connected and caring school community;
• deputising for the Principal as required and contributing to whole school leadership and decision making.
