Balaklava Primary School invites a passionate Deputy Principal to join a welcoming and supportive team, located an hour from Adelaide. The role focuses on leading wellbeing, inclusive education, and community partnerships within a collaborative school culture.

You will guide staff, coordinate external support for complex cases, and drive instructional leadership and staff development while ensuring smooth daily operations in a country-lifestyle school.

Responsibilities

• Provide overarching leadership of wellbeing and inclusive education, working alongside the Wellbeing Leader, Wellbeing Team and staff to ensure a safe, supportive, inclusive and respectful learning environment.
• Coordinate external agencies and support services for complex cases to strengthen outcomes for students and families.
• Foster genuine community engagement and collaborative partnerships that build shared understanding and strengthen outcomes across the school community.
• Provide instructional leadership that Fosters collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement, including staff induction, professional learning, performance and development, support for Early Career Teachers and Special Authority Teachers, and building staff capability to meet diverse learner needs.
• Provide effective operational leadership that supports sound decision-making and the smooth day-to-day organisation and management of the school
