Job summary

The Tasmanian Health Service seeks a Deputy Manager – Physiotherapy Services (Acute) for Hospitals South. This permanent full-time role leads a large physiotherapy and allied health workforce, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and guiding governance and strategy.

You will work with the Discipline Lead and multidisciplinary teams to drive service development, policy implementation and operational excellence across the region.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management experience in public health settings.
• Strong governance, policy development and service improvement capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for Hospitals South physiotherapy teams.
• Drive service excellence and patient-centred care.
• Collaborate with the Discipline Lead and across Allied Health to coordinate services.
• Contribute to governance and strategic initiatives.
