Job summary

Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer to co-lead the agency’s digital transformation and strategic ICT direction.

Reporting to the CIO, you will shape governance, drive innovation, and lead diverse teams across the organisation while engaging with executive leadership to deliver high-impact outcomes for federal justice in Australia.

Qualifications

• Extensive EL2 level experience in APS governance, performance reporting and assurance.
• Proven track record leading complex ICT procurement activities.
• Strong research and analysis skills to translate outputs into policy.
• Operational understanding of DTA policies and frameworks.
• Outstanding executive leadership, communication and influence with executives.
• Ability to drive a high-performance culture with transparent reporting.
• Excellent people management, judgement, and APS values commitment.
• High personal drive, integrity and ethical standards.

• Co-lead the digital transformation and governance initiatives across the agency.
