Job summary

Enemix is seeking a Deployment Lead to own field deployment of their AI-driven analytics platform across Australia, the UK, EMEA and North America. You will lead deployment delivery for Commercial Real Estate and Grocery divisions, ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes.

The role combines technical governance, vendor management, edge hardware provisioning and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Customer Success and Sales.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of deployment or delivery teams in analytics or energy management tech.
• Experience across multiple regions/time zones and with offshore partners.
• Strong understanding of BMS, HVAC, IoT integrations and edge hardware.

Deployment Lead | Smart Building Analytics | Sydney or Melbourne

My client has spent more than a decade turning that data into something useful and their AI-driven analytics platform connects to almost any building system, giving commercial property owners and grocery operators one clear view of energy, emissions and equipment performance. They work with some of the largest property and retail portfolios in the world, deliver measurable savings at scale, and were recently acquired by a global leader in heating, cooling and cold chain. That backing gives them the reach to take a proven platform much further.

They are now looking for a Deployment Lead to own how that platform gets into the field across two divisions and three regions.

What you will be doing

• Leading deployment delivery across the Commercial Real Estate and Grocery divisions in Australia, the UK and EMEA, and North America. You will be accountable for targets, timelines and quality.
• Setting priority and sequencing across both divisions, and deciding where engineering and offshore capacity goes when demand overlaps.
• Owning the deployment operating model, including governance, standard procedures, meeting cadence and the gates a project must pass before work begins.
• Holding technical authority over the vendor integration standard. You will decide which building management platforms and headends are approved, conditional or unsupported, and take unconventional integrations through assessment with Product.
• Reviewing solution architecture for new portfolios and material changes so that designs stay consistent across both divisions.
• Owning edge gateway and field hardware procurement and sizing.
• Representing deployment in pre-sales, scoping and tenders, and providing the effort, hardware and licensing input that pricing is built on.
• Managing outsourced delivery partners and offshore capacity. This covers scope, quality standards, invoice approval and the case for growth.
• Leading and developing the team through regular one-to-ones, structured onboarding, quarterly and annual reviews, and objective-setting done with the team rather than handed to it.
• Acting as the final escalation point between Deployment and Product, Commercial, Customer Success and the wider parent group, and with clients and partners.

What they are looking for

• Proven experience leading deployment, implementation or delivery teams in building analytics, BMS, smart building or energy management technology.
• Strong technical depth in building systems integration across BMS, HVAC, refrigeration, metering and IoT or edge hardware, with the judgement to know when something sits outside the standard.
• Experience delivering across multiple regions or time zones, ideally including outsourced or offshore partners.
• Comfort in front of clients during pre-sales and scoping, and the confidence to hold a clear position on feasibility and scope.
• A people leader who takes development seriously and can build structure in a growing function without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• A sound understanding of site security and remote access practice in client environments.
