Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta is seeking a dentist to join our public dental service. The role will be based at our main clinic in Wangaratta with opportunities to work across two sites in Wangaratta and Benalla within a busy, integrated health service.

You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality oral health care to the local community. We value collaboration, ongoing professional development, and a commitment to improving community oral health

• Full Time, Ongoing Contract from February 2027
• 80 hours per fortnight - Inclusive of ADO accrual

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

Northeast Health Dental Service is a 9 chair public Dental Clinic located across two sites in both Wangaratta and Benalla with up-to-date equipment and facilities.We currently have a vacancy and are looking for a dentist to join our clinical team.The main clinic is situated at Northeast Health Wangaratta which is a busy integrated health service and major specialist referral hospital in North East Victoria.

The successful applicant will work alongside a multidisciplinary team with a wide range of skills and experiences.Our team consists of a group of enthusiastic professionals who celebrate their successes and support one another's challenges. We are a busy but vibrant clinic with staff who want to improve the oral health of our community.

Our Region:

• Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast.
• An easy 2 ½ hours drive on the Hume freeway from Melbourne and less than an hour to Albury airport with direct flights to most of the large Australian cities.
• We have over 11 schools including private Catholic and Anglican schooling options for pre-year 12.
