Job summary

Wattle Street Dental is an established holistic practice in Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We are seeking a dentist to join us three to four days a week, with no weekends, supported by a team that backs you and gives you back your weekends.

You'll grow here with genuine mentorship in implants, tongue-tie, and airway and breathing work; SMART amalgam removal training available. We use CEREC, Waterlase, CBCT, digital X-ray and on-site twilight sedation.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice dentistry in Australia.
• Willing to work 3–4 days per week with no weekend work.
• Interest in implants, tongue-tie and airway/breathing work.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care for both adults and children.
• Screen for airway issues, sleep considerations and tongue-tie.
• Utilize advanced technology and participate in the clinic's mentorship program.
• Engage in ongoing training and contribute to team culture.

Wattle Street Dental is an established holistic practice in Cooroy, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Over ten years, eight chairs. We're looking for a dentist to join us three to four days a week. No weekends.

We offer genuine mentorship in implants, tongue-tie, and airway and breathing work. No orthodontic experience needed. You just need to know what to screen and assess for, and we'll teach the rest. If you're not yet trained in SMART amalgam removal, that's fine, we'll bring you up to speed on the safe protocol.

The work

We see a lot of older patients with failing dentitions, and a lot of young kids for expansion and early orthodontics. We screen every patient for airway, sleep and tongue-tie, and we offer sleep dentistry.

The technology

Technology most practices don't have: CEREC, Waterlase laser, ozone, CBCT, digital X-ray, on-site twilight sedation, implants including full-arch, and SMART-protocol safe amalgam removal.

The reputation

Patient flow is never an issue. Patients travel six, seven hours to see us. What makes us different is simple: we care, and we spend real time with our patients.
