Job summary

Tankard Dental – Mildura, Irymple, Robinvale & Ouyen is seeking a Dental Prosthetist to join our regional team. New graduates and experienced prosthetists welcome; you’ll work closely with clinicians and lab teams across Victoria and South Australia.

Based in Mildura, you’ll care for public and private patients from assessment through to follow-up, with removable prostheses, repairs and relines, supported by our on-site digital laboratory and cross-location opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
• Demonstrates empathy and professionalism when communicating with patients.
• Enjoys collaboration with clinicians and technicians in a mixed public/private workflow.
• Interest in chairside care and digital lab workflows.

Responsibilities

• Care for a mix of public and private patients from assessment through to treatment planning and follow-up.
• Perform removable prostheses, adjustments, repairs and relines.
• Collaborate closely with dentists, clinicians and lab teams across multiple clinics.

New graduates and experienced Dental Prosthetists welcome

Bring your skills to a supportive regional team with on-site laboratories, digital workflows and the opportunity to care for public and private patients across Victoria and South Australia.

We’re looking for a Dental Prosthetist to join our team, based in Mildura. Whether you’re starting your career or bringing years of experience, you’ll have the chance to work closely with clinicians and technicians, develop your interests and make a difference for patients in regional communities.

About Us

Tankard Dental has served the Sunraysia community for over 50 years, with clinics in Mildura, Irymple, Robinvale and Ouyen.

Our Mildura clinic has an on-site digital laboratory with three dental technicians. The lab uses digital workflows including 3Shape, PM5 and PM7 milling equipment, Asiga 3D printers and a CEREC workflow.

We also have an on-site lab at our Ouyen clinic, where you’ll work alongside a dental technician with more than 20 years’ experience. Through our public dental contract in Ouyen, we help provide prosthetic care to patients in the surrounding community.

About the Role

You’ll care for a variety of public and private patients, from consultations and assessments through to treatment planning, impressions, try-ins, fitting and follow-up care. Your work will include removable prostheses, adjustments, repairs and relines, supported by close collaboration with dentists, other clinicians and our lab teams.

You’ll work alongside a Dental Prosthetist with more than 15 years’ experience. New graduates will receive guidance as they build confidence and clinical skills. If you’re already experienced, we’d welcome the knowledge you bring and the opportunity to shape the role around your strengths.

Based in Mildura, you’ll have opportunities to work across our Victorian clinics and visit other locations in regional Victoria and South Australia to see patients chairside.
