Job summary

Bupa Dental Burnside is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to support the Practice Manager and ensure outstanding clinic operations across six chairs. This full-time role covers front-line leadership, staff coordination, and day-to-day management to deliver great patient care.

You’ll lead a small team, manage schedules, budgets, and processes, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Bupa’s values in a busy, patient-centered environment open Monday to Saturday with extended Thursday

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coaching a team in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to manage clinic operations, workflows, and patient flow.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate staff and tasks.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Lead and coach the practice team, manage rosters and staff administration.
• Monitor budgets, targets and performance metrics, drive improvements.
• Coordinate orders, invoices and compliance with policies.
