The University of Western Australia is offering a casual Dental Clinic Assistant role in a modern teaching clinic in Perth. You will support dental students and staff, assist during patient treatment, and help maintain infection control and hygiene standards.

Successful candidates will provide patient care in a busy clinical environment, perform administrative duties as needed, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for patients and learners alike, within a public teaching facility context.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Clinic Assisting or equivalent.
• Current knowledge of dental assisting procedures and experience in dental assistance within public dental or teaching facilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical assistance to dental students and OHCWA clinical staff during patient treatment

• Base salary range: $34.25 - $37.93 per hour (plus 25% casual loading) plus 12% superannuation

About you

• Completion of Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Clinic Assisting or equivalent.

Note: A current first aid certificate and working with children check will be required by the successful applicant.
