Job summary

The University of Western Australia (UWA) is seeking a casual Dental Assistant to support clinical care and dental education in Western Australia. You will assist clinicians and students with patient care in a dynamic, teaching-focused environment.

Applicants should have a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, strong infection control knowledge, and experience in clinical reception or administration. A patient-focused, organised communicator is essential for success.

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent) with practical chairside experience.
• Strong understanding of infection control, sterilisation, and clinical procedures.
• Experience in reception or administrative support within a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused, culturally aware approach.
• Well-organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Note: A current first aid certificate and working with children check will be required by the successful applicant.
