Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a casual Dental Assistant to join our Toowoomba dental team. You will provide chairside support and high-quality patient care across a busy practice.

Weekend availability is preferred as the role supports weekend clinic sessions. Applicants should have a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or several years of experience in dental assisting.

Qualifications

• Previous chairside dental experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists.
• Delivering exceptional dental care and customer service.
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures.
• Advising patients of care.
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff.
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries.
• Booking in patients.
• Administration support.

The Role

We are looking for a casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Toowoomba where you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team. The practice is looking for someone who is available on weekends.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists

• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
