Teachers Health is expanding its dental team in Charlestown, NSW, offering casual, permanent part-time, and permanent full-time opportunities for Dental Assistants and Receptionists. The new state-of-the-art practice will provide a supportive environment, modern facilities, and convenient hours from Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant and/or dental receptionist preferred, but training provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures (chair-side support).
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments.
• Manage patient appointments, bookings and recalls.
• Welcoming patients and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
• Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Manage payments and health fund claims.
