Job summary

Bongaree Dental is seeking a friendly and motivated Dental Assistant to join their busy practice on Bribie Island. The role involves assisting dentists, preparing rooms, sterilising instruments, and supporting reception duties while ensuring exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to infection control, with a passion for delivering comfort to patients. Part-time schedule 2-4 days per week, no weekends, in a modern dental practice with development

Qualifications

• Caring, friendly and professional with a passion for patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Understanding infection control and sterile procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after appointments.
• Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Provide patient care and help patients feel comfortable.
• Maintain dental equipment, instruments and supplies.
• Assist with chairside duties including suction and instrument handling.
• Support reception duties and patient bookings when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records.
• Work with the team to ensure smooth practice operation.
