About Us

Norlane Dental Surgery is a thriving practice that offers a wide range of dental services, from simple treatments to complex procedures such as Orthodontics, Implants, and Crowns. Our practice boasts state-of-the-art technology, including OPG 3D, CEREC, intraoral cameras, and the latest Sirona Dental Chairs. With a dedicated team of 5 dentists and specialists, along with visiting Anaesthetists for sedation procedures, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of dental care to our patients.

Position Overview

We are looking for a positive and proactive Experienced Dental Assistant who is deeply passionate about the dental industry. You'll have the chance to work alongside a warm and friendly team, contributing to our patients' exceptional experiences.

Role Expectations

As a Dental Assistant at Norlane Dental Surgery, you will:

• Provide outstanding patient care with attention to quality
• Maintain strict compliance with sterilization and infection control protocols
• Assist chair-side during routine and specialist procedures
• Proactively manage reception duties and provide support to the team as needed

About You

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualities:

• Good experience in Dental Assistant with implant experience (preferred, not necessary)
• If you are fresh in the sector - willing to take Cert-3 in Dental Assistant
• Team player with an empathetic and caring nature
• Ability to establish rapport with patients easily
• Cert III Dental Assisting qualification (preferred, not necessary)
• Cert III Dental Assisting qualification must be obtained within 6 months of starting the position
• Strong commitment to sterilization, safety, and infection control measures
• Collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Reliability, proactivity, and self-motivation
• Computer literacy; experience with CareStack software (desirable but not essential)
• Willingness to contribute across various aspects of the practice
