Job summary

Echuca Regional Health is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support high-quality, patient-centred dental care across our clinics in Echuca. You will assist clinicians at all treatment stages, prepare rooms, sterilise instruments, and help with x-rays and reception tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent).
• Experience providing chair-side assistance.
• Strong understanding of infection control and dental practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with dental software.
• Ability to support reception and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and support clinicians with instruments and materials.
• Clean, sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Assist with dental x-rays and patient preparation.
• Support reception and administrative tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and filing systems.
• Manage stock levels and ensure clinical areas are well equipped.
