Job summary

Shellharbour Village Dental is seeking a friendly dental assistant to join our team. You will support hands-on clinical duties and front-douse reception as needed, with emphasis on infection control and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate has Certificate III in Dental Assisting and prior practice experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a positive, proactive attitude to learn and train.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dental assistant is required.
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Shellharbour Village Dental is currently seeking a dental assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a dental practice and possess strong communication and organisational skills.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to sterilisation protocols and high standards of infection control.

Knowledge of Dentally software is an added advantage.

Ensure surgery is properly stocked and materials kept in date.

Comfortable with receptionist duties if required.
