Job summary

The Cosmetic and Holistic Dentistry Centre in Coffs Harbour, NSW is seeking a casual Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. No prior dental experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided, with shifts approximately three days per week.

We value a friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude, and offer opportunities to learn new skills in a supportive practice environment.

Qualifications

• No prior dental experience required; full training provided.
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is advantageous.
• Ability to work well in a team and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms.
• Sterilisation and infection control procedures.
• Prepare instruments, materials and equipment.
• Support patients and help them feel comfortable.
• Maintain a clean, organised clinical environment.
• Assist with general day-to-day duties around the practice.
• Reception and administrative support when required.

Dental Assistant – Casual | 3 Days per Week

No previous dental experience is necessary. We are happy to provide training to the right person who has a positive attitude, is willing to learn and enjoys working as part of a team.

About the role

Your duties will include:

• Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
• Preparing and cleaning treatment rooms
• Sterilisation and infection control procedures
• Preparing instruments, materials and equipment
• Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable during their visits
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient clinical environment
• Assisting with general day-to-day duties around the practice
• Reception and administrative support when required
