Job summary

Stamford Grand Adelaide is seeking a motivated Demi Chef to join our kitchen team on an ongoing casual basis. You will prepare and cook high-quality dishes across our hotel outlets, working under the Head Chef and Sous Chefs.

This hands-on role offers development across sections, opportunities to enhance your culinary skills, and a flexible 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous Demi Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Relevant culinary qualifications and/or appropriate industry experience.
• Strong food preparation and cooking skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of food for restaurants, banquets, conferences and events.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and established food preparation and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
