Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Coffs Harbour Grange Care Community is seeking a Demi Chef to join a dedicated culinary team. You will prepare nutritious meals and support the Head and Sous Chefs while upholding high food-safety standards.

This full-time role includes weekend shifts on a rotating roster and opportunities for advancement through the Opal HealthCare Academy. The position requires a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, several years of kitchen experience, and a Food Safety Supervisor

What You'll Need: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Several years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen. Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain) A passion for food and a genuine desire to learn and take on more responsibility. Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
