Job summary
LDK Seniors Living is seeking a Cottage Manager to provide clinical leadership and day-to-day operational oversight in our dementia care cottages. You will lead a dedicated team of Registered Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care within a home-like environment.
With 5+ years in clinical practice and strong dementia care knowledge, you’ll drive safety, wellbeing and staff development while partnering with GPs and the broader care team to deliver
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with recent dementia care experience.
- Strong knowledge of person-centred dementia care and best practice.
- Experience leading or supervising care teams and excellent communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership of the cottage’s care team.
- Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Foster a dementia-friendly environment and meaningful engagement for residents.
- Build trusted relationships with residents and families, monitoring wellbeing.
- Coordinate rostering to ensure safe staffing and liaise with GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead incident management, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call roster for clinical escalations as required.
