Job summary

OZITO invites applications for a Demand Planner based at our national office in Dandenong South. You will maintain accurate demand forecasts and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive planning accuracy and continuous improvement in forecasting processes.

Responsibilities include owning the demand inventory plan, stock planning using ERP systems, and supporting logistics. A tertiary qualification in a related field and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Data Analytics or related field.
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting and planning processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable outcomes.
• Ability to manage competing workloads and deadlines.
• Collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP, forecasting or demand planning systems.
• Proficiency in Business Central highly favourable.

Responsibilities

• Own the demand inventory plan for your assigned business unit, converting demand into replenishment plans and issuing purchase orders.
• Utilise D&R systems to assist with stock planning and KPI reconciliation.
• Provide regular stock-on-hand reporting to identify product risks.
• Act as the primary demand planner for your business unit and support relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure forecast accuracy and stock turns stay within acceptable levels.
• Assist with domestic and international logistics.
• Undertake other supply chain planning duties as required.

About the Role

As the Demand Planner you will be responsible for maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support effective business and supply chain planning whilst working closely with key stakeholders to ensure demand plans reflect current business requirements.

Based at our national office in Dandenong South, and reporting to the Demand Planning Team Leader, you will utilize your strong analytical skills to understand sales data and trends to identify risks and opportunities to help drive continuous improvement of forecasting processes and planning accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the demand inventory plan for your assigned business unit. This includes converting demand into replenishment plans and execution of the plans into purchase orders
• Utilise D&R systems to assist with effective stock planning and reconcile with KPI report and trends
• Provide regular stock on hand reporting to identify product risks
• Act as the primary demand planner for your assigned business unit and support for relevant Bunnings stakeholders
• Ensure business unit forecast accuracy and stock turns are maintained within acceptable levels
• Assist with domestic and international logistics
• Undertake other supply chain planning duties as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Data Analytics or related field
• Demonstrated experience in demand planning, forecasting and planning processes, preferably within a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable outcomes
• Ability to manage competing workloads and deadlines
• Collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP, forecasting or demand planning systems
• Proficiency in Business Central highly favourable
