Job summary

Zeno Hire Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Delivery & Equipment Driver to join our Melbourne team. You will deliver and collect EWPs, VMS and cool rooms from customer sites, load and secure gear, and work closely with the hire and operations team.

This casual role offers on-the-job training, the potential to move into a full-time position, and a friendly, down-to-earth team as we grow in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• White Card holder and reliable, punctual with good communication.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks and customer service.
• Willingness to learn and work in a small team, with EWP training if needed.
• Experience with towing trailers is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting EWPs, VMS and cool rooms from customer sites.
• Loading, unloading and securing equipment safely.
• Towing trailers and equipment when required.
• Completing equipment handovers with customers.
• Ensuring equipment is delivered and collected safely and on time.
• Completing basic checks of equipment before and after hire.
• Keeping vehicles, trailers and equipment clean and presentable.
• Working closely with the hire and operations team.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.

Delivery & Equipment Driver – EWP, VMS & Cool Rooms

Zeno Hire Pty Ltd is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Delivery & Equipment Driver to join our friendly team.Zeno Hire operates three businesses — Be Cool Hire, Be Up Hire and Be Seen Hire — supplying equipment including EWPs, VMS and cool rooms to customers across Melbourne.We’re a small, close-knit team where everyone knows everyone, supports each other and genuinely feels like family. We’re looking for someone with the same attitude — reliable, willing to learn, takes pride in their work and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Delivering and collecting EWPs, VMS and cool rooms from customer sites

Loading, unloading and securing equipment safely

Towing trailers and equipment when required

Completing equipment handovers with customers

Ensuring equipment is delivered and collected safely and on time

Completing basic checks of equipment before and after hire

Keeping vehicles, trailers and equipment clean and presentable

Working closely with the hire and operations team

Providing friendly and professional customer service

What We're Looking For Essential:

White Card

Reliable and punctual

Good communication and customer service skills

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Willingness to learn and work as part of a small team

Highly regarded, but not essential:

EWP ticket

Experience towing trailers

Transporting plant and equipment

Hire industry experience

Basic understanding of equipment and machinery

No EWP ticket or towing experience? That's okay! We're happy to invest in the right person with the right attitude. If you're reliable, eager to learn and willing to give things a go, we'll look at putting you through the appropriate EWP training and provide training on towing and transporting our equipment.

Locations

We operate from three depots however are specifically hiring for:

Bayswater

You may be required to work from different depots depending on the day's deliveries and collections.
