Job summary

Byars Packaging in Geelong is seeking a self-motivated Delivery Driver to support a busy warehouse. The role is primarily delivering goods to existing customers with an element of warehouse duties, and is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for loading and unloading stock, picking and packing orders, ensuring high pick accuracy, and maintaining a neat, safe warehouse. Excellent communication with customers and colleagues is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Delivery Driver or Warehouse Assistant preferred but not essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional customer interaction during deliveries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver up to 40 orders per day directly to customers.
• Pick, pack and prepare products for delivery with high accuracy.
• Load and unload stock to and from pallets.
• Receive, check and put away inbound stock.
• Maintain a neat and tidy warehouse.
• Assist with ad hoc duties as required.
• Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures.

About the role

We are looking for a self motivated Delivery Driver to support a busy warehouse.The role is primarily delivering goods to our customer base however will have an element of warehouse duties as well. This position is suitable for applicants who can operate in a fast-paced working environment.

Key responsibilities

Delivery of up to 40 orders a day direct to customers

Pick, pack and prepare products ready for delivery, ensuring a high level of pick accuracy

Loading and unloading stock to and from pallets

Receiving / checking & putaway of inbound stock

Maintain neat and tidy warehouse

Assist with ad hoc duties as required

Strong commitment to OH&S policies and procedures

To be successful you will possess:

Similar experience as a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant preferred but not essential

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Friendly nature, able to communicate with customers in a professional manner upon delivering goods

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
