Job summary

DELIVERY DRIVER / STOREPERSON

Samios Plumbing Supplies is a proudly Australian family owned and operated plumbing wholesaler, servicing a variety of different sectors including industrial, residential, projects and more! Regarded as one of the leading independents, our people strive to provide the highest level of customer service possible.

Due to increasing work volume, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Driver/Storeperson at our Samios Pooraka branch. We are seeking an enthusiastic team-oriented person who is well organized and shows attention to detail to take on this full time role currently available.

This role offers variety, with duties including (but not limited to):

• Local multi-drop deliveries.

• Manage the loading & unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods.

• Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods.

• Regular cyclical stock takes.

• Work with the sales team to achieve daily branch requirements.

• Picking & Packing of store orders.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you possess the following qualities:

• A forklift Licence

• A MR Truck Licence not necessary but will be advantageous

• Warehouse Experience

• Manual Licence not essential but highly regarded

• Plumbing Experience not essential but highly regarded

• No medical limitations in regard to physical lifting and handling heavy materials within Workplace Safety Limitations.

• Basic computer literacy required.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Will be self-motivated, confident and reliable with excellent organization skills.

• Have exceptional communication skills.

• Be able to liaise with customers, suppliers and team members in a friendly and respectful manner.

• Aptitude to learn and understand our product range.
