Job summary

Private Advertiser in Bendigo, VIC is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our warehousing and distribution team. You will operate delivery vehicles, collect and deliver goods within scheduled routes, and maintain delivery records with signatures and confirmations.

The role requires a valid Australian MR license, experience in delivery driving, strong safety practices, and excellent time management. A forklift license is preferred and staff discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian MR driver's license with a clean record.
• Proven delivery driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional communication skills and customer focus.
• Physical ability to lift and move goods up to 40 kg regularly.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Current forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Collect and deliver goods to customers within scheduled timeframes and routes.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
• Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical and safety issues and report defects.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured during transport.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle.
• Report accidents, damage or delays to management promptly.
