Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Customer Service Officer to be the welcoming first point of contact in our Sydney branch. This max-term 18 month part-time role offers 25 hours weekly, with shifts across Monday to Friday 11:15am–4:45pm.

You will handle everyday banking queries, support customers with cash transactions, and guide them to specialist teams for Home Loans or Business Banking. Training is provided to help you grow and contribute to our customers' financial wellbeing.

You will engage in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs, utilising your knowledge of Westpac’s financial products and services to support their holistic banking needs. By addressing their everyday banking queries and referring them to the right specialists in Home Loans or Business Banking, you will help ensure each customer receives tailored support and guidance. What will I need?

• Customer Service Experience: ideally in a customer-facing role

• Resilience: ability to remain calm and composed whilst handling challenging situations
