Job summary

RecruitShop is seeking a delivery driver to safely transport premium timber windows and doors across Sydney Metro from our Northern Beaches facility. You will operate a flatbed truck, complete pre-planned delivery runs, and provide courteous service at customer sites.

The role is casual with approximately four days per week. Independent work, strong communication, and careful handling of premium joinery are essential in this customer‑facing position.

Qualifications

• Delivery driving experience or similar role.
• Class C driver’s licence required for flatbed truck.
• Clean driving record with no drink/drug convictions.
• Ability to work independently through the day.
• Strong communication and courteous customer service.
• Careful handling of timber products during transit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timber windows and doors across Sydney metro.
• Occasional regional NSW deliveries.
• Operate a flatbed delivery truck safely.
• Communicate with customers approx. one hour before arrival.
• Provide professional, courteous service at delivery sites.
• Follow pre-planned daily delivery runs.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to safely deliver high-quality timber windows and doors to customers throughout the Sydney metropolitan area, with occasional deliveries to regional NSW.

Working from prepared delivery runs, you will operate a flatbed truck independently while ensuring products are handled carefully and customers receive professional and courteous service.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering timber windows and doors throughout Sydney metro areas
• Completing occasional deliveries to regional and country NSW
• Safely transporting products using a flatbed delivery truck
• Handling windows and doors carefully to prevent damage in transit
• Contacting customers approximately one hour prior to arrival
• Providing courteous and professional service at customer sites
• Following prepared delivery schedules and completing runs independently

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous delivery driving experience or experience in a similar role
• A Class C driver's licence to operate the required flatbed truck
• A good driving record with no previous drink driving or drug convictions
• Ability to work independently and responsibly throughout the day
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous manner
• A high level of care when handling and transporting quality products
• Reliable, presentable and customer-focused approach to work
