Job summary

Rolling Bearings West in Geelong is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for loading, transporting and delivering items to clients across Geelong and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and professional service.

You will handle proof of delivery, collect payments when required, perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, and act as the face of the company with every delivery.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to deliver goods along optimal routes and in compliance with road rules.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit.
• Interact with clients professionally and resolve delivery-related questions or issues.
• Obtain customer signatures (Proof of Delivery) and process or collect payments where required.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist with warehousing tasks as needed and maintain accurate stock handling and inventory.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our RBW team. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients and businesses across the Geelong and surrounding area's in a timely and professional manner. You will act as the face of our company, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service, when delivering there orders.

Core Responsibilities

Transport & Navigation: Safely operate a company vehicle (Van) to deliver goods, following the most efficient routes and adhering to all local traffic laws and road regulations.

Loading & Unloading: Manually or mechanically load and unload cargo, ensuring items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit. experience with a Walkie stacker forklift is preferred.

Warehousing/Unloading Stock: Receiving goods, Unloading stock, putting away stock on shelves, stock control.

Customer Service: Interact with clients in a polite and professional manner, handling any inquiries, and resolving delivery issues.

Documentation & Payments: Obtain customer signatures (Proof of Delivery), and process or collect payments when required.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety checks, report any mechanical issues, and ensure the vehicle is clean, serviced and well-fuelled.
