Job summary

LogiHire Pty Ltd is seeking a driver to handle time-critical freight around Brisbane, including airport precincts and customer sites. You will ensure timely pickups and deliveries, maintain high standards of care for high-value freight, and complete all paperwork accurately.

The role requires a current Australian driver’s licence, a clean record, and reliable, customer-focused communication. Flexibility to cover weekends and varied hours is expected.

Qualifications

• A current Australian driver's licence and a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Brisbane roads and the airport precinct.
• Reliability: when you say you'll be there, you're there.
• Flexibility around hours and approx. one weekend per month on roster.
• Good communication and a professional manner with customers.
• Courier, freight or delivery driving experience is an advantage.
• An ASIC, or willingness to obtain one, is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Picking up and delivering time-critical freight across Brisbane and surrounding areas
• Regular runs to and from airport terminals, airline cargo facilities and customer sites
• Handling freight carefully and securely, including high-value and sensitive items
• Completing paperwork and proof of delivery accurately
• Keeping the operations team updated on your status and any delays
• Keeping your vehicle clean, safe and well presented

The Company

Our client is a specialist in time-critical aviation logistics. They move urgent aircraft parts and critical freight for airlines, MROs and aviation businesses, often when an aircraft is on the ground waiting. Speed and reliability are everything, and the drivers are a big part of how the business delivers on that promise.

The Brisbane team is young, hands-on and growing.

The Role

This is not a standard multi-drop run. You will be handling urgent, high-value freight where timing really matters. Some days are steady, some days a job lands and needs to be on the road in minutes. You will work closely with the operations team to make sure every pickup and delivery happens on time and in good condition.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking up and delivering time-critical freight across Brisbane and surrounding areas
