Job description

Our Peries IGA store in Woodford is well established in the community. The store has an experienced team looking for a positive, and experienced Deli Supervisor who can assist the team expand and grow this successful department.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to perform consistent quality work to a high standard while unsupervised.

Major duties and responsibilities will include:

• A passion for food and the presentation.
• Deliver high retail standards within the Deli department including ordering, stock management, cooking and food safety standards.
• Mentoring, coaching and developing the team
• Excellent customer service, with high level communication and interpersonal skills

Suitable candidates must be motivated, enthusiastic and have a willingness to commit to provide excellent customer service. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in working in a Deli or Kitchen and ideally would be a qualified Food Safety Supervisor.

Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts over a 7 day period.
