KBR in Australia seeks a Test and Evaluation Engineer to coordinate and deliver T&E activities and support platform integration. The role is hybrid, involving close work with the Project Manager, Army stakeholders and partners on mechanical and systems tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in defence T&E, strong communication skills, and an engineering background. Active NV1 clearance is required to apply. Flexible work and career development are offered.

Qualifikationen

• A qualified T&E practitioner with relevant and recent defence industry experience of more than 3 years.
• Good understanding of Defence Test & Evaluation Systems Engineering concepts.
• Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (formerly the Capability Life Cycle).
• Previous & current experience and thorough understanding of Test & Evaluation policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement.

Aufgaben

• Apply Test & Evaluation (T&E) principles across all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Demonstrate how Defence engineering disciplines interface with T&E activities.
• Support and author T&E documentation such as T&E Strategies and Plans.
• Provide T&E advice to Systems Engineering Plans, Safety Plans and CM Plans.
• Maintain land-worthiness for land systems in accordance with governance standards.
• Conduct mechanical engineering duties including design review and analysis.
• Prepare certification plans, assessments, artefacts and V&V reports.
• Apply engineering principles to development, testing, integration and sustainment.
