Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking engineers based in Exmouth to contribute to a major defence communications capability through integration, verification and testing across hardware, software and infrastructure.

You will work with technicians and engineers to solve real-world problems, supporting development across testing, maintenance, systems engineering and operational readiness as the program evolves.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, integration, testing, verification or validation within Defence or similar complex environments.
• Ability to switch between hands-on problem solving, technical analysis and engineering documentation.
• Curiosity and comfort with problems without obvious answers, collaborative work in small teams.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, verification and testing activities across complex communications and mission systems.
• Investigate technical issues and work with engineers and technicians to identify practical solutions.
• Contribute to system acceptance, operational readiness and government-led test programs.
• Review technical procedures, documentation and engineering artefacts to support quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with local and remote stakeholders across Australia and the United States.
