Job summary

Amentum in Canberra is seeking an Integration Engineer to support complex Defence communications and systems integration projects within the Australian Government's Defence environment.

You will work across multiple project phases, develop and maintain engineering baselines, coordinate technical input, and ensure integration activities align with Defence requirements while collaborating with Defence stakeholders and project teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated systems engineering and integration experience in complex environments.
• Experience with voice/data networks and their integration into larger systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain engineering management docs and baselines.
• Knowledge of configuration management and engineering change processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and integration expertise across Defence projects.
• Develop and maintain Integration Management Plans and Configuration Management Plans.
• Coordinate technical stakeholder input and manage engineering baselines.
• Support change management and maintain artefacts.
• Review contractor deliverables for compliance with requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, notes and decision-support documentation.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and major system reviews.
• Mentor Defence personnel in systems engineering practices.
• Monitor engineering reporting throughout the lifecycle.
