Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our Canberra-based team.

You will provide expert guidance on systems engineering and integration across ODCS projects, coordinating across stakeholders and ensuring contractual baselines and changes are properly managed.

Qualifications

• NV1 clearance required with ability to obtain NV2.
• Minimum 6 years’ defence-related systems experience.
• Experience in integration of voice and data networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on Systems Engineering across projects and ODCS phases.
• Develop and maintain Engineering artefacts and plans (e.g., I MP, CM Plan).
• Coordinate stakeholder input for technical baselines and change management artefacts.
• Review CDRLs and advise on compliance with integration requirements.
• Mentor and coach ADF and APS workforce on integration practices.
• Represent CASG in stakeholder groups, major reviews, and test events.
• Maintain regular reporting as defined by the Engineering Management Plan.

Role Title: Integration Engineer

Role description:

• Provide expert advice and support to all projects for all applicable phases of the ODCS in the areas of:
• Systems Engineering
• Systems Integration with Voice and Data Communications Networks
• Develop and maintain Systems Engineering plans (e.g. Integration Management Plan, Configuration Management Plan) and related artefacts
• Coordinate stakeholder input to and the development and maintenance of technical requirement baselines and engineering change management artefacts for all projects IAW the CASG E&T requirements of the applicable ODCS phase
• Review CDRLs, as delivered by Industry Partners and provide expert advice on compliance with integration requirements in accordance with the CoA obligations under the relevant contracts
• Provide mentoring & coaching to ADF and APS workforce
• Develop and maintain Systems Engineering artefacts, ensuring they are current and fit for purpose including:
• Integration Management Plan, Configuration Management Plan,
• Inputs to Function and Performance Specifications, contractual Technical Baselines (e.g. FBL)
• Engineering Notes and ECPs
• Briefing packs
• Decision Briefs or other decision support documents
• Represent CASG participating in and coordinating actions arising from stakeholder working groups and meetings
• Represent CASG at contractual activities including major system reviews and project test events
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Project Engineering Managers and Project SMEs
• Maintain regular reporting requirements as defined by applicable Engineering Management Plan

Mandatory requirements:

• Minimum NV1 clearance with ability to obtain NV2. (NV2 Clearance preferred).
• Relevant experience undertaking role responsibilities.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably within Defence.
